Trailblazers/Apprentices/CSCS Cards

The BSIF (HSG) membership and other professionals in the industry are working towards a Trailblazer for the Personal Fall Protection Installer/Recertification Technician. This Trailblazer is vital in order to develop apprentices and provide a career path to attract talent to the industry.

The course syllabus, training budget and draft end point assessment have been approved by the Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education and by the Secretary of State. This course is aimed at NVQ level 2, and the plan going forward is to develop further courses at higher levels to create a complete career path for people within the industry.

Trailblazers allow employers to place delegates on courses that are 90-100% funded via the apprenticeship levy. Even if your business does not contribute to the levy you are still entitled to claim 95% of the training costs. For full details please go to: –
